What is the HAEC?

The Huntington Arts & Entrepreneurial Center serves as a hub of arts and culture, a focal point for education and empowerment, and a catalyst for economic development and advancement for all residents of the greater Huntington County community.

Program Summaries

Local, regional, and national creators will invite the public to learn a new skill and come together for interactive entertainment.

Whether you are a beginner or intermediate, the focus of these classes will feature wheel throwing or hand building techniques.

Business owners who are looking for a space to prepare food can register to use the commercial kitchen. This is a great opportunity for caterers, food trucks owners, and people who need more space for their progress.

HAEC includes an apartment and private studio for artists to truly escape into their creative world. The artists may also be included in performance opportunities for the Arts-In-Education programming in the local schools. Applicants will go through a selection process before being chosen for the program.

The Lafontaine Arts Council sponsors an Art-In-Education program that impacts the students from ages Pre-K through 12th grade. Activities like public performances or quality art presents have been essential in the Arts-In-Education program.
